Berries and Bark

January provides a satisfying display here at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.  We see beautyberry, winterberry and the red berries of the strawberry tree.  Bark from trees such as the paperbark maple or the Japanese Stewartia prove that trees are interesting with or without their show of foliage.
